Stout Haiku

I recently found a pretty cool site named Beer Haiku Daily. The name pretty much tells you exactly what the site is. It’s a collection of haikus, one per day, about beer.

In honor of this site, I have crafted my own haiku about my favorite type of beer, the stout. Here it is:

stout, the smooth dark beer
fine cocoa and coffee taste
could go for one now

Update: I submitted this haiku to Beer Haiku Daily, and sure enough, they posted it! Pretty cool stuff.
